Admission Policy Statement
Pathway to gain admission into Diamond Special College
Diamond Special College, Owerri provides an all-inclusive system of education that supports the students learning in every way, and ensure the well-being of all in the community. Admission is open for students of all families’ status and background, races, nationalities, religions and cultures. We welcome all students and families to apply for admission. The general admission is open in January – September every year. However, if children are moving from another country or school, they can be admitted at the beginning of the academic term and not later than 6 weeks after school resumption, provided there is a space in the class of their age group.
Diamond Special College Owerri is either structured assessments, according to entry level. For all candidates, final offer of admission is based on the performance at the entrance examination and reports from previous schools.
Admission Procedure
The Admission forms are obtainable at the Diamond Special Schools Owerri Admission Office or Online.
Entry into other classes:
Year 7
Year 8 and
Year 10
Admission Requirements
Admission forms should be returned to Diamond Special College
International School, Owerri with the following:
Birth certificate.
Immunization certificate/Medical Certificate of Fitness.
Two Passport Photograph.
Last School Report(Previous term).
Receipt of payment.
Originals will be required for sighting.
Entrance Examination
Diamond Special College Owerri Entrance examination is in two phases which are;
Phase 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) multiple choice in Mathematics, English and General Subjects.
Phase 2: Interview session with applicants For all candidates, final offer of admission is based on the performance at the entrance examination and reports from previous schools.
