Diamond Special Schools Champions Set to Represent Nigeria at the International STEM Olympiad Grand Finale in Rome!!!

We are thrilled and immensely proud to announce that two of our exceptional students, Egejurum Onyedikachi and Don-Anele Munachimso, representing Diamond Special Schools (Diamond Special School and Diamond Special College, Owerri), have arrived in Lagos ahead of their historic trip to Rome, Italy.

They will be flying the flag for Diamond Special Schools and the entire South East region at the prestigious International STEM Olympiad Grand Finale, scheduled to take place from July 2 to July 8, 2026. This elite global arena will bring together top-tier students from 153 countries to compete in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Guiding our brilliant students on this international assignment is our very own esteemed educator, Mr. Anthony Tochukwu Iwegbu, who is accompanying the delegation.

Our students earned this lifetime opportunity after their stellar performance earlier this year, emerging as undisputed champions at the South East Mathematics Olympiad.

Speaking on the upcoming global tournament, the Chief Executive Officer of Educare, Alex Onyia, who facilitated the participation, expressed absolute confidence in the team's caliber, stating his firm belief that they are well-equipped to return home with gold medals.

The delegation, which also includes a student from Evergreen Schools and co-escorts, is scheduled to depart from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos for Rome this Wednesday.
